Training Plans | Self-Coached plans are available for runners, cyclists, and triathletes. These programs are well structured including heart rate training in personalized zones, periodization, and proper levels of recovery.
Coach-Tony plans are supplemented with information gained through various certifications and 10+ years of competition including 15 Ironman and 30+ marathons. These plans should be viewed as guidelines. While you can do all workouts, please rest when in doubt (of fatigue or injury). The plans include a balance of stress and active recovery.
I am happy to answer questions regarding the training plans, these programs include daily e-mail correspondences or ongoing phone consultation. Most training plans are on-line and include:

Magic Mountain Man Triathlon Training Program
Coach-Tony.com is offering on-line training programs for the Magic Mountain 70.3 and Olympic distance triathlons. The plans are 13 weeks long and begin on July 12. Each plan is structured with periodization in mind; three 4 week workout blocks. Each block includes 3 build weeks of focused workouts followed by an active rest week. The final block ends with a two week taper leading up to the race. Plans includes 3 swim workouts per week, 3 bike workouts per week with transition runs, and 3-4 runs per week (some as part of a brick). Swim workouts are separated from run and bike days to allow for mid-week recovery. Each week includes a rest day (no training).
